Morocco To Host CAF Awards For Third Consecutive Year.
Morocco is set to host the prestigious CAF Best Awards for the third year running, as confirmed by the Confederation of African Football (CAF). The 2024 edition of the event will take place on Monday, 16 December, according to reports from our correspondents in Morocco.
Last year’s ceremony was held in Marrakech, Morocco, and the country is once again preparing to welcome top football stars from across the continent. While the final venue for this year’s awards is yet to be confirmed, CAF officials are working on finalising the details.
The CAF Awards celebrate the achievements of Africa’s best football talents, recognising their outstanding contributions to the sport. Last year, Nigeria’s Victor Osimhen was named the best men’s player, while compatriot Asisat Oshoala claimed the women’s prize.
For this year’s award, two Nigerians are in the running for the male category, Ademola Lookman who plies his trade in Italy with Atalanta and Victor Boniface of Bayer Leverkusen, with the former touted to win following his remarkable personal display and achievement.
With anticipation building, this year’s ceremony promises to highlight the continent’s footballing excellence once more.
