Over 40 ministers-designate have successfully finished their documentation process, according to the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (OSGF).
The official documentation process concluded on Saturday, August 19, with more than 30 out of the 45 ministers-designate having their documentation completed.
Willie Bassey, the OSGF’s director of information, shared a brief update on Sunday, confirming that the process had proceeded smoothly without complications.
Those who completed their documentation have also received invitation cards for up to three guests for their forthcoming engagements.
Bassey assured that more updates would be provided as the situation progresses, emphasising that over forty ministers-designate have been successfully documented as the process winds down.
“The process was seamless as there were four registration points and it took the Ministers less than ten minutes to complete the process.
“Also, invitation cards for the three guests of the Ministers-Designate were successfully given to each Minister for onward delivery to their invited guests.
“Meanwhile, arrangements have been concluded to convey them from the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation tomorrow morning at 8.00 am to the venue of the swearing-in ceremony.”
