Nollywood actress Mercy Aigbe has expressed her disappointment and sadness over the alleged actions of some cinema staff, who she claims have been discouraging fans from
watching her movie, Thinline.
Aigbe shared messages from fans who visited the Maryland mall to watch her film, only to be advised by cinema staff to watch a different movie instead. The staff allegedly cited issues with the air conditioner in the hall where Thinline was showing.
Aigbe’s colleague, Jamiu Azeez, also shared a similar experience, stating that he had to beg fans to watch the film despite the air conditioner issues.
The actress lamented the negative impact of such actions on investors and filmmakers, saying, “This is sad.”
