Real Madrid forward Rodrygo has responded to speculation about his future at the club amid rumors of Kylian Mbappe’s potential arrival from PSG.
Rodrygo, who scored two goals last night in Real Madrid’s 2-0 victory over Athletic Club, has been a key player for Los Blancos in recent seasons. However, with Mbappe reportedly set to join the La Liga champions in the summer, there is talk of Rodrygo potentially facing reduced playing time.
While Mbappe’s move to Real Madrid is yet to be officially confirmed, Rodrygo commented on the situation, saying, “Mbappe to Real? It seems close based on what journalists are saying, and I trust their information. But I’m not fully aware of the details.”
Regarding the possibility of being benched if Mbappe arrives, Rodrygo stated, “If Mbappe comes, it will be a positive challenge for the manager. My focus remains solely on Real Madrid.
