Paris Saint-Germain, PSG, returned to winning ways against AC Milan after the thumping they received against Newcastle.
Kylian Mbappe netted in the first half following a determined Warren Zaire-Emery solo run.
The 17-year-old fought off plenty of pressure in midfield before finding Mbappe on the edge of the box with a forward pass. The Frenchman chopped inside on his favoured right foot before fizzing a low shot beyond the motionless Mike Maignan.
PSG doubled their lead early in the first half through Randal Kolo Muani, and Mbappe was involved again.
His clever short corner to Ousmane Dembele in the box provided his international teammate with room to shoot, and after his effort was saved by Maignan, Muani poked in the rebound.
There was no response from Milan as PSG confirmed their spot as group leaders.
