Like a trance with no line of thought, Youths in Adamwa storm the local government to loot the government-owned grain reserves and other shops.
According to reports, the looting spree at the grain warehouse began with the youths at the PZ Roundabout, which is located very close to the Yola International Airport. Some of them have also started looting private stores.
The reports gathered revealed that armed policemen are currently confronting the youths in an attempt to quell the rampage. The situation has turned violent, with reported cases of live bullets being fired as the looting continues.
Some of the looters blamed the action on the hardship being experienced in the country following the removal of subsidies on premium motor spirit, otherwise known as petrol.
