Kai Havertz: “Arsenal Is My Home”.
Kai Havertz has expressed his deep affection for Arsenal, describing the club as his home following his high-profile move from Chelsea. The German international, who joined Arsenal in a big-money transfer, has opened up about his adaptation to life at the Emirates and the initial doubts surrounding his switch from a London rival.
“I feel great, I feel very, very good. Arsenal, for me, is my home. I love to be here every day,” Havertz said.
Reflecting on the scepticism that followed his move, Havertz acknowledged the pressure but remained confident in his abilities. “I think it’s normal when you go from a rival in London to another club, and they pay big money for you. Some people will doubt me. But I just knew my qualities, I believed in myself, and obviously the manager and my team-mates helped me a lot, because it’s not always easy in those situations.”
Havertz also credited the support of his team-mates and manager for helping him settle in. “Everyone was there for me, everyone was ready to help, and I think that’s why at one point it just started working,” he added.
Reflecting on his journey, Havertz noted his personal and professional growth during challenging times. “I think I grew up a lot. It just happens when things are not going your way—you grow up as a person and as a player as well.”
Havertz is now focused on building on his progress as he continues to establish himself as a key figure in Arsenal’s squad.
