The Kaduna State Governorship Election Petitions Tribunal has declared the March 18 governorship election in the state as an inconclusive.
The ruling comes in response to a petition filed by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its candidate, Rt. Hon. Isah Mohammed Ashiru, challenging the initial declaration of Senator Sani as the winner.
The three-man panel of Justices, led by Justice Victor Oviawe, issued a verdict on the petition, ordering a rerun in 24 polling units across seven wards in four local government areas of the state.
This rerun will involve 16,300 registered voters and could potentially alter the outcome of the election. Stay tuned for further updates on this unfolding political development.
