President Tinubu Returns To Abuja After Two-Week Leave In The UK.
President Bola Tinubu has returned to Abuja following a two-week working leave in the United Kingdom. He arrived at the Presidential Wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport at around 7:20 pm, where he was welcomed by senior members of his administration.
The President departed for his working vacation on 2 October, as part of his annual leave, according to a statement from his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga. During his leave, Tinubu made a brief visit to Paris on 11 October for an undisclosed engagement, as confirmed by his Senior Special Assistant on Political and Other Matters, Ibrahim Kabir Masari.
Upon his return, President Tinubu was greeted by notable figures, including Lagos Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Chief of Staff Femi Gbajabiamila, and several ministers, including Wale Edun (Finance), Abubakar Atiku Bagudu (Budget and Economic Planning), and Nuhu Ribadu (National Security Adviser). Also present was Abdullahi Ganduje, the national chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
The President is expected to resume his official duties at the presidency on Monday.
