Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, declared that the eagerly awaited Lagos Red Line rail project is set to be unveiled in February.
Speaking at the Lagos West Senatorial District Town Hall Meeting hosted at the Balmoral Convention Centre, Sheraton, Ikeja, the governor revealed that the state government has formally written to President Bola Tinubu, extending an invitation for him to officiate the unveiling ceremony scheduled for February.
“Our Red Line rail will be unveiled in February. In fact, we have written officially to Mr President to come and help us unveil it in February this year,” stated Governor Sanwo-Olu during the event.
The announcement marks a significant milestone in the development of the Red Line rail project, representing a key advancement in Lagos State’s efforts to enhance its public transportation infrastructure.
