APC Ward Secretary Abdullahi Balla Dies After Collapsing In Gwargwada, Abuja.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Gwargwada Ward, Kuje Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), is mourning the sudden loss of its ward secretary, Abdullahi Balla, who tragically passed away after collapsing on his way home from his farm. The incident, which occurred last week, has sent shockwaves through the local community and the APC.

According to Ibrahim Bala, the deceased’s brother, Abdullahi appeared healthy earlier in the day and had gone to the farm with two younger siblings. The incident took place around 5:23 PM on Wednesday as they were returning home. “Abdullahi had just finished work and was walking back with our brothers when he suddenly slumped,” Ibrahim recounted. “They held him and quickly called for help. A motorcyclist arrived and rushed him to the hospital, but he was sadly confirmed dead on arrival.”

Abdullahi Balla has since been laid to rest in accordance with Islamic rites, leaving behind a grieving family and a stunned community. The sudden nature of his death has prompted an outpouring of condolences, with many expressing disbelief at the loss of a dedicated party member.

Danladi Abdullahi Galadima, an APC chairmanship aspirant in Kuje Area Council, expressed profound shock at the news. “Abdullahi Balla’s sudden passing is a devastating blow to our party and the entire Gwargwada community,” he said. “His commitment to the APC and his service as ward secretary will be deeply missed.”

The cause of Abdullahi’s collapse remains unclear, and no official statement regarding a medical examination has been released. The incident adds to a series of similar tragedies in the region, raising concerns about sudden deaths among public figures and community members.

The APC in Kuje Area Council has yet to announce plans for replacing the late ward secretary. Meanwhile, tributes continue to pour in from party members and residents, who remember Abdullahi as a diligent and approachable leader.

This is a developing story, and further details will be provided as they become available.
