American rapper, Sean Carter, aka Jay-Z, has denied allegations of raping a 13-year-old girl with disgraced music mogul Sean Combs, aka Diddy, in 2000.
A lawyer, Tony Buzbee, had filed a civil lawsuit accusing Jay-Z of statutory rape. Reacting in a swift statement shared via his social media pages, Jay-Z denied the allegations and challenged Buzbee to file a criminal complaint.
The rapper described the allegations as “false and blackmail.” Diddy, an ally of Jay-Z, was arrested in September by Homeland Security on suspicion of sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy and interstate transportation for prostitution.
