The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced a change in the closing date for Direct Entry registration.
Contrary to earlier indications, the registration process will not be ending on Thursday, as previously stated.
In a statement released via its official channels on Thursday evening, JAMB acknowledged that its offices were inaccessible for Direct Entry registration throughout the duration of the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) exercise.
Consequently, the Board has decided to extend the registration period to accommodate candidates who missed out on these opportunities.
The statement read, “Direct Entry registration would not be closing today. The Board is aware of the fact that all through the UTME exercise its offices were closed for DE registration. As such, it would avail candidates the opportunity to utilise those lost days.”
