Otto Addo, Ghana’s new coach, has introduced five debutants to the squad for upcoming friendly matches against Nigeria and Uganda later this month.
The new players include David Akologo from Bolivia, Ibrahim Osman from Nordsjaellands, Nathaniel Adjei from France, Mohammed Diomande from Rangers of Scotland, and David Akologo from Asante Kotoko.
Surprisingly, some regular players like Inaki Williams, Joseph Paintsil, and Majeed Ashimeru were excluded from the squad.
Tariq Lamptey from Brighton and Hove Albion returns after recovering from an injury, joining Patrick Kpozo, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku, and Edmund Addo in the team.
Captain Andre Ayew, Jordan Ayew, Mohammed Kudus, Osman Bukari, Samed Abdul Samed, and Elisha Owusu are also part of the squad for the matches against Nigeria on March 22 and Uganda later in Marakech, Morocco.
