Content creator and singer Ogunleye Babatunde Olamide, popularly known as Oluwadolarz, recently shared his inspiring story of resilience on the ‘WithChude’ podcast.
At just two years old, Oluwadolarz lost his father, forcing him to take on immense responsibilities. By age 11, he became the breadwinner, worrying about his family’s basic needs.
To support his family, Oluwadolarz worked at Dangote Cement factory in Ebute Metta after his music career faced initial setbacks in 2008. “I was once a truck loader at Dangote Cement… I lost my dad at a very early age… I became a man at 11,” Oluwadolarz shared.
He also faced significant challenges in 2020, including rape allegations, lost jobs, depression, and debt. Oluwadolarz recently alleged that a music executive demanded sexual favors in exchange for promoting his music, sparking a call to action from prominent music executive Don Jazzy.
