Gradually sipping wine throughout a dinner party can get you to loosen up. From one glass of wine to another, you keep pouring more wine because the effect of wine isn’t as immediate.
After finishing bottles of wine, it is easy to sleep off. However, it is not unusual to wake up with a headache.

Don’t drink wine or don’t drink too much
This is the easiest way to avoid getting wine drunk or having a headache, but not everyone can do this.
Do not drink wine on an empty stomach
Do not drink alcohol if you have not had something to eat. Drinking on an empty stomach is the easiest way to feel sick.
Drink water
Stay hydrated before you start drinking and when you are on your second glass of wine, drink more water. Water restores the body’s electrolytes.
Don’t mix drinks
Hangovers usually come from mixing alcoholic drinks that have no business being mixed. If you are drinking wine that evening stick with it.
Don’t rush
Sip slowly. Downing wine like you are in a drinking contest can get you drunk fast, nurse your drinks and sip it slowly.
