GRUESOME DISCOVERY IN ABUJA: ‘Yahoo Boy’ Arrested After Beheading Girlfriend.

Agwan Sarki Orozo, FCT – In a shocking development that has sent unbelievable shockwaves through the community, a young man suspected of internet fraud, colloquially known as a ‘Yahoo boy’, was apprehended with the severed head of his girlfriend in Agwan Sarki Orozo, near the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

The suspect was nabbed following an intelligence tip-off that led security operatives to an uncompleted building in the area. Sources close to the investigation reveal that upon interrogation, the suspect confessed to the heinous act, admitting that the rest of the victim’s body was still at his residence.

The incident was brought to public attention by Comrade Abwami Nuhuson Daniel, the Secretary of the Orozo Community, via his personal social media platform. In his post, Daniel expressed his horror at the discovery, stating, “I got the shock of my life as we apprehended a ‘Yahoo’ ritual with human head (his girlfriend) inside a nylon in Agwan Sarki, Orozo, FCT. I thought I just used to watch things like this until I experienced one ‘live’ today. In my community. And this guy said the remaining body of the girl is still in his house. God have mercy on this generation.”

Efforts to obtain an official statement from the FCT police command were unsuccessful at the time of this report. The community is left reeling, grappling with the reality of such dark criminal activities in their midst.

This case highlights the darker side of internet fraud in Nigeria, where some individuals reportedly engage in ritualistic practices believed to bring success in their fraudulent activities. The local authorities are expected to provide further updates on this disturbing case, which underscores the urgent need for enhanced security measures and community vigilance.

The identity of the deceased woman has not been disclosed, and her family has yet to be notified. The community and the nation at large wait with bated breath for justice to be served in this barbaric incident.
