Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Sule, has pledged to eradicate criminals, terrorists, and bandits from the state. This commitment was made in a statement he personally signed, which was part of his Eid-El-Kabir festival message to the people of Nasarawa State.
Governor Sule expressed strong condemnation of the recent surge in kidnappings by hoodlums in certain areas of the state.
He emphasised that the government would not show leniency towards those responsible for such heinous acts. “Security agencies will continue to hunt these criminals in their locations. We assure you that we will not rest until Nasarawa State is peaceful and secure,” he stated.
The governor also called on the people to remain steadfast and resilient during these challenging times. He assured them that the government is working tirelessly to alleviate the current hardships. “As citizens, we should continue to support and encourage our leaders at all levels to help them achieve their mandate of providing good governance to the people,” he said.
Additionally, Governor Sule urged road users to adhere to traffic regulations and called on the Federal Road Safety Commission and other security agencies to intensify law enforcement efforts during the festival celebrations.
