The Nigerian team, which includes 21 players, technical staff, and officials from the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), arrived on Thursday afternoon. This marks a crucial step in their journey towards competing in the prestigious global tournament.
The squad had departed Nigeria on Tuesday, boarding a Turkish Airlines flight from Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja. Their training sessions in the Dominican Republic will fine-tune their strategy before the tournament kicks off on 16 October 2024.
