The Honourable Minister of Sports Development in Nigeria, Senator John Owan Enoh, has heaped praises on the Super Eagles of Nigeria for moving up 14 places in the latest FIFA men’s ranking released in the early hours of today.
As we earlier reported that the Super Eagles are now currently ranked 28th in the world and likewise the third best team in Africa following the updated rankings released by FIFA.
While Reacting to the latest development, Enoh, via a tweet on his official X account, urged the Super Eagles to keep up the good work, adding that he is proud of their accomplishments
“Congratulations to the Super Eagles of Nigeria for moving up 14 positions on the FIFA ranking ladder,” he wrote.
“You have gone from 42nd to 28th place, which is your highest placement in 16 years since 2008.
“We are proud of your accomplishments and hope you continue to soar. Keep up the good work, dear Super Eagles of Nigeria.” Enoh Concluded.
