Liverpool has been drawn against Atalanta in the quarter-finals of the Europa League, while West Ham will face Bayer Leverkusen in what promises to be an exciting round of matches.

This sets up a potentially thrilling conclusion to Jurgen Klopp’s tenure at Liverpool, with the Reds still in contention for four trophies this season.

In another intriguing matchup, Italian rivals AC Milan and Roma will clash for a spot in the semi-finals, while Portuguese giants Benfica take on Ligue 1 side Marseille.

The first leg of these quarter-final ties is scheduled for 11 April, followed by the second leg on 18 April. Should Liverpool progress, they will face either Benfica or Marseille in the semi-finals. West Ham, on the other hand, would meet AC Milan or Roma if they advance past Bayer Leverkusen.

The semi-finals are set for 2 May and 9 May, with the final taking place at the Dublin Arena in the Republic of Ireland on Wednesday, 22 May.

Here’s a breakdown of the quarter-finals and potential semi-finals matchups:

Quarter-finals:

AC Milan vs Roma

Liverpool vs Atalanta

Bayer Leverkusen vs West Ham

Benfica vs Marseille

Semi-finals:

Benfica or Marseille vs Liverpool or Atalanta

AC Milan or Roma vs Bayer Leverkusen or West Ham

Liverpool’s impressive performance against Sparta Prague in the last 16, where they won 11-2 on aggregate, has raised hopes among fans. Atalanta, however, presents a tough challenge, having remained unbeaten in the Europa League this season.

West Ham, fresh off their Europa Conference League triumph last season, will aim to continue their European success against high-flying Bayer Leverkusen, who have been formidable in the Bundesliga this campaign.
