Ademola Lookman, Alex Iwobi, 6 Others to Arrive Super Eagles Camp Today.
Eight more Super Eagles players are set to join the national team’s camp today in Uyo as preparations intensify for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against South Africa. Ademola Lookman, who recently scored a hat-trick to secure Atalanta’s first UEFA Europa League Cup, will be among the new arrivals.
Joining Lookman will be Maduka Okoye, Bright Osayi-Samuel, Calvin Bassey, Frank Onyeka, Alex Iwobi, and Paul Onuachu. These players are expected to link up with the 15 early arrivals already in camp, bringing the squad closer to full strength ahead of their crucial qualifiers against South Africa and Benin Republic in Abidjan, Cote D’Ivoire.

Currently, Nigeria is placed third in Group C with two points from two games, trailing Rwanda, who tops the group with four points. South Africa is in second place with three points, while Lesotho and Zimbabwe are level with Nigeria on two points each. Benin Republic rounds out the group with one point.
