Africa Cup of nation Champion, Sadio Mane set to join the Bavarians
Liverpool forward, Sadio Mane is expected to arrive at Munich airport around 10 am UK time this morning to undergo a medical with Bayern Munich.
According to Sky Sports, he will then proceed to a hospital to undergo medical tests before checking into a hotel and visiting Bayern’s facilities.
The German champions have agreed a £35m deal with Liverpool to sign Mane, who was their top summer transfer target.
The Senegal superstar will then put pen to paper on a three-year deal that will see him remain at the Allianz Arena until 2025.
Mane joined the Reds from Southampton in the summer of 2016 and established himself in the first team, and has been a mainstay of Jurgen Klopp’s recent success.
Liverpool Forward Sadio Mane finished the season with 26 goals in 50 appearances, his highest ever career tally and was Liverpool’s second highest scorer. He won the FA Cup and Carling Cup with Liverpool Last season.
Mane made his first appearance of the 2019-20 season as a substitute in a 4-1 win over Norwich.
