Chelsea in talks with Leeds over deal for Raphinha
Chelsea’s capitalize on Arsenal sluggishness to be ahead of them in an advance talk to sign Raphina.
Emirates stadium seems to be the destination of the Brazilian, but the Gunners are still considering the fee when Chelsea already table something huge for the player, as he’s considered as a versatile player.
Stamford Bridge seems to be the likely destination for the Brazilian, with Champions League football guarantee, which serves as a huge advantage for Chelsea ahead of Arsenal.
Arsenal are also keen on Brazil forward Raphinha; the Gunners’ opening bid did not meet Leeds’ valuation of the player, who has two years left on his contract and is not expected to sign a new deal at Elland Road
Chelsea’s bid has at this point trumped Arsenal, with blues ready to pay £50m to get the deal done.
Arsenal had an opening bid rejected but are expected to go back in with an improved offer.
Barcelona are also understood to want to sign Raphinha, whose agent is the former Barca player Deco.
Raphinha has been Leeds’ outstanding attacking player since joining two seasons ago, scoring 17 Premier League goals.
