English FA Apologises To Muslim Footballer Over Dress Code Incident.
Iqra Ismail, a Muslim footballer in the Greater London Women’s Football League, was recently barred from a match due to her choice of attire. Ismail, who wore long pants instead of shorts in accordance with her religious beliefs, was not allowed to participate after the referee cited league rules against her clothing choice.
