Edo Lawmaker Natasha Osawaru Adopts 2Baba’s Surname Amid Marital Changes.
Edo State lawmaker, Natasha Osawaru, has updated her Instagram bio to reflect the surname of Nigerian music legend 2Baba, now identifying as “Honourable Natasha Idibia.”
The update was noticed today, just days after 2Baba’s estranged wife, Annie, signed off an Instagram post using her maiden name, “Annie Uwana Macaulay,” omitting “Idibia” for the first time in years.
Natasha’s move comes weeks after 2Baba publicly proposed to her in a viral video, following his confirmation of separation from Annie. The singer, known for his hit song African Queen, had earlier taken to Instagram to clarify the situation, stating, “I and Annie Macaulay have been separated for a while now and currently filed for divorce. No one hacked my account. I said what I said. I come in peace.”
Since the announcement, 2Baba and Natasha have been seen together on multiple occasions, from luxury shopping trips to political engagements, further fuelling speculation about their relationship.
Meanwhile, Annie has wiped her Instagram page clean and unfollowed her husband, adding to the growing speculation surrounding their marriage. The couple, who tied the knot in 2012, share two daughters.
Natasha, a lawyer and former beauty queen, now steps further into the public eye, adopting a name that no longer appears on Annie’s profile, signalling a new chapter in this unfolding saga.
