Famous Canadian rapper Drake has taken to social media to reflect on his career success.
The 38-year-old recalled getting inspired by some of his colleagues, but noted that he has now surpassed them.
On his Instagram page, Drake wrote, “[I] used to look up to some people then I hit a growth spurt…$$$”
Drake’s music career began in 2006 with the release of his debut mixtape, “Room for Improvement.” Since then, he has established a reputation as one of the best-selling artists in the world and the best-selling rapper of all time.
His song, “One Dance” featuring Wizkid and Kyla, holds the Guinness World Record for the first single to hit 1 billion streams on Spotify.
