Dino Melaye, the collation agent of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, on Monday, challenged the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Chairman, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, to bundle him out of the International Conference Centre, ICC, in Abuja.
Melaye said this while protesting the process of collation and result announcement by INEC.
The Kogi-born politician, who was challenging all the results presented by the various State Collation Officers, told Yakubu that the right thing must be done.
Melaye added that he was not destructive but wants the results presented at the polling units displayed on the INEC website for comparison with the ones presented by the state’s collation officers.
Melaye said, “We cannot have another state, I’m not destructive. The electoral act says that what is uploaded is what is being read.
He added, “You can bundle me out, but the right thing must be done. I’m a party agent, that is what the constitution says.”
