Afrobeats superstar Davido has announced plans to celebrate his 32nd birthday with a generous N300 million donation to charity.
On Monday, Davido shared his intentions on X (formerly Twitter), stating that the funds will support orphanages and organizations combating drug abuse among youths.
“Once again, for my birthday this year, we are donating to orphanages and a charity that helps young people stay away from drug abuse & addiction. This year is N300m. Details to follow soon,” he wrote.
This donation continues Davido’s philanthropic legacy. In 2021, he donated N250 million to 292 Nigerian orphanages on his 29th birthday, earning widespread acclaim.
