Dangote Petroleum Refinery, boasting a daily production capacity of 650,000 barrels, is poised to inaugurate the sale of its Automotive Gas Oil (AGO) diesel today, setting a minimum purchase requirement of one million litres per marketer.
Alhaji Abubakar Maigandi, the National President of the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN), revealed this to newsmen on Tuesday, emphasizing that each marketer must acquire at least one million litres. “Even now as I dropped the call someone was telling me they sell they wanted to start,” he stated.
Maigandi expressed confidence that the refinery would kick off the product’s sale on Tuesday, although Dangote Group Chief Communications Officer Anthony Chiejina requested The Nation to send a text message, to which he had not yet responded as of press time.
Further details will follow shortly as the situation unfolds.
