Popular socialite Cubana Chiefpriest has opened up about his feud with Nigerian music star Burna Boy.
In a recent interview with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu on Rubbin’ Minds, Chiefpriest attributed the rift between him and Burna Boy to jealousy.
According to Chiefpriest, Burna Boy is envious of his close relationship with Davido, the boss of DMW label. “My issue with Burna Boy started because he was jealous of my relationship with Davido. He wanted me by his side, but I chose to work with Davido,” Chiefpriest explained.
Chiefpriest also noted that Davido is not the type of person who focuses on discussing his industry colleagues. “Davido isn’t the kind of person who would use his time to discuss his colleagues. It’s always them imagining things and trying to drag us,” he said.
The feud between Chiefpriest and Burna Boy has been ongoing, with both parties exchanging words on social media.
