Nigerian veteran actor Chiwetalu Agu has weighed in on the devastating repercussions of toying with others’ emotions.

His comments come after a shocking incident where an ex-girlfriend allegedly poisoned her former boyfriend and his friends.

During an Instagram live session on November 5, 2024, Agu emphasized the importance of handling relationships with care. He cautioned viewers that unresolved emotions can have dire consequences, stressing that not everyone who is hurt will forgive and move on.

Agu referenced the tragic incident, noting that the victim’s decision to allow his ex-girlfriend to prepare a meal for him despite their breakup was unwise. “Maybe he thought it was a normal breakup, but to her, a lot was damaged,” he said.

The actor concluded with a stern warning and a poignant message:

“I’m a bad guy, I’m a bad girl, one day monkey go go market and never return. Let’s be conscious. To the girl, I leave you to your gate. You have taken a soul that you cannot replace.”

Agu’s words serve as a reminder to approach relationships with empathy and caution.
