CHAN: Ogunmodede Invites 26 Players As Eagles-B Commence Camping In Ikenne-Remo.
The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has announced that the Super Eagles B will begin their closed-camping exercise at the Remo Stars Sports Institute in Ikenne-Remo. Under the stewardship of stand-in Head Coach Daniel Ogunmodede, a squad of 26 players has been called up, setting the stage for what could be a successful outing at the 8th African Nations Championship (CHAN).
Among those invited to don the green and white are captain Nduka Harrison Junior, goalkeeper Henry Ozoemena, defenders Sadiq Ismail and Ifeanyi Onyebuchi, midfielder Saviour Isaac, and forward Sikiru Alimi. The list is bolstered by the inclusion of goalkeeper Kayode Bankole, defenders Imo Obot and Stephen Manyo, midfielders Musa Zayyad, Rabiu Ali, and Papa Daniel Mustapha, alongside forwards Adamu Abubakar and Emmanuel Ogbole.
The Super Eagles B have already made headlines by defeating Ghana’s Black Galaxies in the qualification series, securing a historic 3-1 victory in Uyo following a scoreless first leg in Accra.
