Nigeria duo nominated for CAF Award
CAF nominated Moses Simon and Akinkunmi Amoo, have been nominated for the CAF Player of the Year and Young Player of the Year awards.
Nantes Forward, Moses made the shortlist following an impressive outing for Super Eagles at the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations early this year in Cameroon.
CAF released the first list of nominees for the Men’s categories namely Player of the Year, Inter-Club Player of the Year, Young Player of the Year, National Team of the Year, and Club of the Year on Thursday.
The winger also starred in his club, Nantes Coupe de France success last season.
The former Levante player scored six goals and recorded eight assists in 30 league appearances for Nantes last season.

Amoo made the shortlist in the Young Player category after an impressive campaign for his Danish club, FC Copenhagen.
The CAF Awards 2022 will be held ahead of the final of the African Women’s Cup of Nations in Morocco scheduled to take place between 2 July – 23 July.
