Singer Burna Boy has fired back at critics who constantly compare him to the late Afrobeat legend and activist, Fela Anikulapo-Kuti.
Burna Boy, who has faced criticism over his recent detention of colleague Speed Darlington for alleged defamation, emphasized that he is not Fela and wants the comparisons to stop.
In a bold statement, Burna Boy declared, “I’d rather kill than die for Nigerians.” He also wrote, “All that Burna Boy and Fela talk needs to die now. I’m not Fela, I’m BIG7. I’m all about positivity, peace, and prosperity…”
