The Nigerian Police have issued another summons to the President of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Joe Ajaero, and the General Secretary, Emma Ugboaja, to appear at the Force Headquarters on September 5, 2024.
This fresh invitation comes just 24 hours after Ajaero responded to a previous police summons regarding allegations of criminal conspiracy, terrorism financing, treasonable felony, subversion, and cybercrime.
In the new summons, the NLC leaders have been called in to answer questions related to alleged criminal intimidation, actions likely to cause a breach of public peace, and malicious damage to property.
