In a shocking turn of events, Doma United, also known as the Savannah Tigers, have been involved in a serious road accident. (As reported by Mr Nigerian Football on Twitter).
The team’s bus reportedly somersaulted several times, causing multiple injuries among the players. Fortunately, no lives were lost in the incident.
The accident occurred as Doma United was en route to Gombe for their scheduled match against Sunshine Stars at the Pantami Stadium on Thursday, part of Match Week 36 of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL). The injured players have been rushed to a nearby hospital for immediate medical attention.
