The African Union (AU) Heads of State and Government have chosen Mohamed Ould Ghazouani, the President of Mauritania, to serve as the organization’s new Chairman 2024.
He was seleced on Saturday, February 17, during the ongoing 37th Ordinary Session of the Assembly of the African Union (AU) Heads of State and Government in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
