Former Lagos PDP Candidate JANDOR Defects To APC.
Dr Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran, popularly known as JANDOR, has officially defected from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC), citing his commitment to the progress of Lagos State.
Speaking at a press briefing, JANDOR explained that his decision was motivated by his belief in unity among progressives as a crucial step towards achieving the collective aspirations of the people. He emphasised that his initial move to the PDP for the 2023 gubernatorial election was driven by a sincere desire to serve Lagosians. However, he now sees the APC as a more viable platform to deliver on his promises of good governance.
JANDOR expressed gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila, and the President’s son, Seyi Tinubu, for their support in facilitating his return to the APC.
He reassured his supporters that the decision was taken with the best interest of Lagos in mind and encouraged them to embrace this new chapter as they work towards building a better future for all residents of the state.
