Tyson Fury has weighed in on Anthony Joshua’s victory over Francis Ngannou in Saudi Arabia on Friday night.
Joshua delivered an impressive performance, knocking Ngannou down with a powerful right hand in the first round. Despite Ngannou’s efforts to recover, Joshua landed two more decisive blows to secure the win.
Fury, who observed the bout from ringside, commended Joshua for his strong showing but emphasized his focus on his upcoming bout against Oleksandr Usyk for the undisputed world heavyweight championship.
Fury stated that the fight with Joshua is currently on the backburner, as he prioritizes his clash with Usyk on May 18th and their scheduled rematch in October.
However, Fury hinted at a potential future showdown with Joshua, should both fighters remain available after their respective bouts.
