Former Anambra State governor, Mr. Peter Obi is heading for a landslide victory in the results of the presidential elections held on Saturday in his state. From the results so far declared, Labour Party has cleared all 12 local government areas announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC. The former Vice President secured 214,012 votes to defeat Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress, APC, who polled 160,620 votes. Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, LP, won 132,683 votes. The State Collation Officer, Prof Emmanuel Adigio made the announcement on Monday afternoon. Adigio is Vice Chancellor of Nigeria Maritime University, Okerenkoko, Delta State.
