A Kaduna Chief Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday sentenced a 25-year-old man, Bala Hassan, to 10 months imprisonment for conspiring and stealing a generator set worth N450,000. The convict of Ungwan Dosa, Kaduna, pleaded guilty to the charge and begged the court for leniency. The Ikeja Electricity Distribution Company has denied reports claiming it will increase electricity tariffs for its customers by July 1, 2023. The Federal Government has started the issuance of Proof of Ownership Certificate (POC), for all categories of registered vehicles nationwide.
