Ondo State House of Assembly says it has given the state Deputy Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, a seven-day ultimatum to respond to the corruption allegations against him. The Chairman, Ondo State House of Assembly Committee on Information, Oshati Olatunji, stated this during an interview on Channels TV’s Politics Today. The Lagos State Police Command on Friday disclosed that it had an agreement with the organisers of the candlelight procession for the late Nigerian singer, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji popularly called MohBad, to end the event at 8 pm. Bandits on Friday morning abducted an unspecified number of students from the Federal University of Gusau. The bandits in large numbers were also said to have invaded the Sabon-Gida community of the Bungudu Local Government Area of Zamfara State. Lagos State Police has arrested the nurse who allegedly gave late Nigerian musician Ilerioluwa Olademeji Aloba, aka MohBad, an injection before his death. According to a police source, investigators discovered that the musician was beaten by the same persons who constantly harassed and threatened him after his show at Ikorodu. He was alleged to have suffered injuries as a result of the beating, prompting him to seek the care of a nurse at home. MohBad began convulsing after receiving injections, one of which was said to be an anti-tetanus shot. A tetanus shot is a toxoid vaccine that protects against tetanus, a potentially fatal bacterial infection.
