The Lagos State Government has postponed the introduction of the Human Papillomavirus Vaccine (HPVV), campaign earlier scheduled for Monday, Sept. 25, for logistics reasons as informed by the Federal Ministry of Health (FMoH). A new date for the introduction of the HPVV campaign will be announced later. The National Association of Nigeria Nurses and Midwives, Lagos State Council, has said the suspect arrested for injecting the late Afrobeat singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad is not a registered nurse. The Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu, has stated that likely sabotage by some electricity workers caused a fire outbreak that destroyed three transformers worth $4 million at the sub-regional switchyard of the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) in Birnin-Kebbi, Kebbi State.
