The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control and Prevention says the number of confirmed Lassa Fever cases have increased significantly resulting in a cumulative 162 deaths in 2024. The agency also urged the public to adhere to recommended safety protocols and to report any symptoms to local health authorities promptly.
