Strictly Come Dancing star, Amy Dowden, was rushed to the hospital after Saturday’s live show but is now feeling “much better,” her spokesperson confirmed.
Dowden, who has Crohn’s disease and previously battled breast cancer, returned to the show in August after cancer treatment.
“Amy was feeling unwell, and an ambulance was called as a precaution. She is feeling much better and thanks the Strictly family for their love and concern,” her spokesperson said.
A Strictly spokesperson added, “Due to unforeseen circumstances, Amy Dowden MBE missed tonight’s results show.”
Dowden, diagnosed with breast cancer in May 2023, expressed joy upon learning she was cancer-free before her return.
The dancer, who hasn’t partnered a celebrity since 2022, appreciates privacy regarding her health.
