American Boxing Promoter Fausta Yetunde Dehinde Pledges 250 Million Naira Investment In Yucateco Boxing League.
American-based boxing promoter, Fausta Yetunde Dehinde, has announced a significant investment of 250 million naira in the Yucateco Boxing League over the next year. The CEO of Yetty International Boxing Promotions has committed these funds with the aim of developing boxing at the grassroots level in Nigeria.
Fausta, a strong advocate for youth empowerment through sports, expressed her determination to invest in the Yucateco Boxing League as a means to further promote amateur boxing in the country. She highlighted her confidence in the league, stating, “I have worked closely with the Yucateco boxing outfit for over two years now and I make bold to say that they are one of the most professionally run boxing institutions in Africa.”
She also praised the efforts of the league’s leadership, noting, “Only those who are truly passionate would invest their resources in a project where they get nothing in return. What Mr. Imadu is doing with the boxing league is highly commendable, and a host of us are already studying his model.”
In addition to her investment, the Texas-based business mogul has shown interest in acquiring a Boxing Promotional Certificate/License from The Boxing Promoters Association of Nigeria (BPAN), further signalling her commitment to the sport’s growth in Nigeria.
This investment is expected to significantly boost the development of amateur boxing in Nigeria, providing opportunities for young talents to thrive and potentially make their mark on the international stage.
