CAF has appointed Algerian Lahlou Benbraham to referee the AFCON qualifying match between Nigeria and Sao Tome and Principe on Sunday.
The fixture is scheduled to hold at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo, Akwa Ibom.
Benbraham will be assisted by fellow Algerians Brahim El Hamlaoui Sid Ali (Assistant Referee 1) and Mohammed Serradj (Assistant Referee 2).
He would also have a compatriot as the fourth official in the form of Nabil Boukhalfa while Prosper Addo from West African neighbours Ghana will be the match commissioner.
Togolese Komi Konyoh has been appointed as referee Assessor , while Ozoemena Joseph from Nigeria will be the general match coordinator.
The Super Eagles of Nigeria are expected in Uyo on Wednesday while the Falcons of Sao Tome and Principe will arrive on Thursday for the encounter billed for 5pm at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium.
The Super Eagles have already secured a place at the 2023 AFCON which will be hosted by Cote d’Ivoire.
Jose Peseiro’s side need a point from the game to finish as Group A winners ahead of Guinea-Bissau.
