Adekunle Gold to Perform at BAL 2024 in Kigali
Renowned Nigerian hip-hop star Adekunle Gold is set to perform at the upcoming 2024 African Basketball League (BAL) playoffs in Kigali, Rwanda. The event, which attracts top celebrities from the sports and music worlds, promises an electrifying halftime show atmosphere.
The BAL 4 playoffs will feature performances by a mix of local and international artists. Joining Adekunle Gold are Rwanda’s The Ben, Chris Eazy, Ish Kevin, Kevin Kade, Ariel Wayz, Kivumbi King, Bwiza, Ishami Talent, Inganzo Ngari cultural troupe, and Kenny Sol.
The artists will perform during the halftime shows of the finals, enhancing the experience for basketball fans. The performance schedule, issued by BAL on Friday, May 17, highlights that Inganzo Ngari will headline the opening ceremony on May 24. Juno Kizigenza and Adekunle Gold will perform during the halftime show of the opening game, featuring Libya’s Al Ahly and South Africa’s Cape Town Tigers, followed by defending champion Al Ahly (Egypt) versus FUS Rabat (Morocco).
The grand finale on June 1 will see performances by The Ben and Ishami Talent, ensuring an unforgettable experience for attendees. In addition to the main events, the BAL fan zones outside BK Arena will feature music from Kigali’s top DJs, providing entertainment for all.
