Nigerian singer Burna Boy has reacted to the release of Speed Darlington from police detention.
Darlington was rearrested on November 27, after taunting Burna Boy over his affiliation with embattled American rapper Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs.
Burna Boy took to his Instagram story to address the situation, stating that his critics are fortunate that he has a lot to lose, implying that he could have taken more drastic action. He wrote:
“When they talk nobody cares, but it’s a Nuclear disaster when I react.
“You all don’t know how lucky you are that I have too much to lose now, Walahi a lot of you wouldn’t be here no more.
“Anyway make I just go buy another thing relax.”
Burna Boy’s response suggests that he is choosing to rise above the situation and not engage with his critics further.
